At Daang Vikas Sansthan (DVS), we believe that sustainable livelihoods are the foundation for empowering marginalized families and breaking the cycle of poverty. Our livelihood programs focus on creating income-generating opportunities, building local capacities, and strengthening community resilience—particularly among the poorest households in eastern Rajasthan.
Through our key initiative, the Family Livelihood Resource Centre (FLRC), we identify and support the most vulnerable families in the Karauli block. We provide them with resources, skills, and handholding support to enhance their income through diverse livelihood options suited to their local context.
Our Livelihood Support Includes:
- Skill development in agriculture, animal husbandry, and micro-enterprises
- Access to government schemes and financial services
- Market linkage support for rural products and produce
- Promotion of collective enterprises, including women’s groups and producer collectives
- Sustainable natural resource management for improved agricultural productivity
We work closely with communities to ensure that livelihood strategies are inclusive, climate-resilient, and rooted in local needs and opportunities.
