Water and Land

Sustainable management of water and land resources is critical for the livelihoods and well-being of rural communities in eastern Rajasthan. At Daang Vikas Sansthan (DVS), we work closely with farmers, pastoralists, and local stakeholders to promote conservation, efficient use, and equitable access to these vital natural resources.

Our interventions aim to restore degraded land, enhance water availability, and support climate-resilient agricultural practices that improve food security and community resilience.

Our Key Focus Areas Include:

  • Rainwater harvesting and groundwater recharge initiatives
  • Soil and water conservation techniques to reduce erosion and improve fertility
  • Promotion of sustainable agriculture through organic farming and crop diversification
  • Afforestation and tree-planting drives to restore ecological balance
  • Capacity building of local communities on natural resource management and climate adaptation
  • Facilitating access to government schemes related to land rights, watershed development, and irrigation

By integrating traditional knowledge with modern techniques, DVS empowers communities to sustainably manage their water and land resources for present and future generations.
